KBR is looking for an Audio Visual Technician based in our Leatherhead UK office.

As an Audio Visual Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing basic Teams Rooms installations, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshooting AV and Microsoft Teams issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Upgrade firmware and patches to equipment as required.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Collaborating with the project team to support installations and resolve technical challenges.
  • Coordinate with the design team to determine AV infrastructure requirements for new conference rooms.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or certification in Audio Visual Technology or related field.
  • Cisco CCNA would be beneficial or knowledge and understanding of IP Networking and Cisco hardware and software.
  • Hands-on experience with basic Teams Rooms installations.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot audio-visual systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Logitech, and Lenovo hardware (preferred).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience:

A relevant number of years’ experience as an Audio Visual Technician, with a focus on Microsoft Teams and Crestron hardware
