Our client, a reputable car dealership based in Dolgellau, is seeking a skilled and experienced Dealership Account Manager to join their team. As an integral part of the dealership’s financial operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial insights to support the business.

They are a successful operation representing well-known brands and used car operations, with several years trading experience our client offers a stable working environment with a strong reputation forged into the local community.

Key Responsibilities of a Car Dealership Accountant:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the dealership’s financial operations.
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage the dealership’s cash flow and banking activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax advisors.
• Provide financial guidance and support to the dealership’s management team.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies and initiatives.

What our client expects of their Car Dealership Accountant:

• Proven experience as an Accountant within the automotive industry or a similar role.
• ACCA, CIMA or AAT Experience is ideal but not essential.
• Pinnacle experience would be advantageous
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.
