Job description: Are you an Automotive Electrical Project Engineer seeking a new opportunity to grow your career? ASL Technical are now working with a leading automotive manufacturer based in Bedfordshire as they grow their Electrical Department to meet project needs with an Electrical Reliability Test Engineer.
Main Purpose of Electrical Reliability Test Engineer
To support the Electrical & Electronic Test team with:
- Management of electrical reliability tests for various Body Electronics systems.
- Lead concern identification to root cause investigation and countermeasures
- Creation of test plans and procedures to meet with project and design milestones
- Overall vehicle test technical coordination
- Formal reporting of test results to design sections and to upper management
Experience / Knowledge for the Electrical Reliability Test Engineer
- Degree qualified in relevant subject along with relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development.
- Competent with PC applications. Including Microsoft excel and project.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of component and vehicle EMC test requirements
- Understand network communications and multiple bus principles (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
