People Source are recruiting on behalf of a high-profile client who are looking for a skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer to join a busy infrastructure team in a new role due to growth in the organisation.

The Azure DevOps Engineer will be involved with the following duties:

  • Implementing and maintaining CD pipelines for distributed systems
  • Infrastructure as code – automating deployments to Azure
  • Improving DevOps processes and tools
  • Implementing infrastructure security
  • Supporting and maintaining applications hosted in Azure
  • Working with operating systems, network infrastructure, Azure Container Apps etc.
  • Being part of the out of hours support team

In order to be considered for this Azure DevOps Engineer role most of the following skills and experiences are required:

  • Proven Azure Skills with at least two years of experience
  • Native VMs, Container Services, Azure PaaS services
  • Azure Networking, Azure DNS, Azure routing
  • Best practice security, Private endpoints, Virtual appliances, Network security groups
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Powershell
  • Experience in IaC deployments – bicep, ARM templates, terraform
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, YAML, Service Principles
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and Postgres DB
  • Understanding of authentication technologies (LDAP, Azure AD and Auth0 etc.)

The company offices are based in Surrey and ideally the successful candidate will be willing to travel there once a week. However it is possible that the role could be offered on a fully remote basis so applicants from further afield should also apply but you will need to be UK based.

Expected salary: £75000 – 80000 per year
