Job description: BI Data Analyst (Tableau) Rate: £400-425 per day + Outside IR35 – 2-3 days onsite in Manchester per week Location: Central Manchester (Close to Train/Tram/Bus stations) Interviews: Early March 2024 Start: Mid March 2024 My leading client based in Manchester is looking for a BI Data Analyst with Tableau skills and a strong background of working on Enterprise Data Warehouse projects.Primary role will be as a BI Data Analyst to support the development of the Insight and Analytics capability.This will centre on development of the existing Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) therefore experience as a BA in development / support for data warehouse and reporting / insight and analytic needs is key.Ideally in a B2C, retail , or logistics environment.EDW is being delivered by a supplier and therefore role must be able to interface with delivery partners and articulate user needs and support the design and definition of solutions. Role will interface with end-users and a matrix of internal / external delivery teams providing retail channels etc.Skills & Experience required:
- Confident / self-starter, able to get up to speed quickly. Happy getting into the detail and ‘hands-dirty’ .
- Primary insight tool is Tableau, experience is not essential but should have some working knowledge of Tableau (not looking for a Tableau report writing expert.)
- Experience of working of requirements gathering on Data projects to help define/build a Data Roadmap/Strategy
