Job description: We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper with a keen eye for detail to join our Accounting & Finance team.
The key responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes.
- Month end reconciliations of the general ledger.
- Prepare financial statements for internal and external use.
- Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Implement and adhere to company accounting policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
- Prepare VAT returns in compliance with laws and regulations.

A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeping position.
- Thorough understanding of bookkeeping processes and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation.

Expected salary: £30000 per year
