Job description: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced broiler farm manager looking to run a site as if it were their own and really maximise the results from these modern facilities.
Whilst the candidate would report to the owner, the successful candidate will be in charge of the day to day management of the farm and will have responsibility for their results.
You will be self driven to gain high scores and maximise welfare and production, this flock of 270k birds are housed across 6 sheds 4 of which are 18 months old the remaining 2 are refurbished steel clear span sheds around 7 years old.
With accommodation included as well as a high end salary for this sector – this is an opportunity for those with proven results to really make their mark.

The Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all aspects of running the farm is met.
- Maintaining safe working practices.
- Managing and motivating a team.
- Ensuring welfare of livestock.
- Ventilation management.
- Feed management.
- Vaccinations.
- Production performance.
- Record keeping.
The Requirements:
- Effective people management skills.
- Ability to carry out manual duties.
- Proficient computer skills.
- NVQ level 3 in poultry production or similar would be desirable.
- Full UK driving license.
