Within our consult business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project. We are currently recruiting for a business advisory lead – local government. This role sits within the consult engine, specifically in our cities and places market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving work winning, commission delivery and leadership of team in local government including strategic advisory, development advisory, masterplanning and strategic programme advisory services.
- Focussing on growing this service offer for local government and communities clients.
- Managing the provision of expert technical expertise.
- Working with clients providing solutions to drive best value from their portfolios and ensure that their asset strategies align with the organisation’s business strategy, cost efficiency, risk mitigation, organisational effectiveness, deliverability and affordability.
- Providing public sector advice on strategic asset management, development advisory, programme advisory, property and facilities management, the support services market and strategic collaboration.
About you
You will have chartership or membership of a professional body, alumni or similar to keep abreast of emerging strategy, policy and direction. You must maintain strong external professional network, identifying and brokering future opportunities. You will have the ability to apply the Mace behaviours to commissions, significant experience of demonstrating curiosity to generate novel solutions. You have experience of all aspects of people management including performance management and disciplinary procedures.
