Almac Diagnostic Services is a leading stratified medicine business, specialising in biomarker-driven clinical trials. We are incredibly proud to be involved in multiple oncology and immunology trials, which contribute to treatments for breast and ovarian cancer, lung cancer, and more. We focus on the discovery, development, and commercialisation of companion diagnostic tests, and on biomarker clinical trial management and clinical test delivery from our CLIA-accredited laboratories.
We are pleased to offer a 12-month student placement opportunity, starting in Summer 2024, which will provide the successful applicant with invaluable experience of business analysis within a leading pharmaceutical company.
The Role
The Business Analysis Student Placement works to support the Business Analysis Team and the wider Internal BD Team. The primary responsibility of the role is to input, collate & cleanse data to ensure it is accurate for reporting. This highly analytical role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines. The role requires strong analytical skills, high accuracy levels and attention to detail.

Key Requirements
To apply for this position you will need to be educated to A-Level (or equivalent) and working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or business discipline.
Whilst not essential, it would be an advantage if you had some prior experience in a commercial business environment, costing or accounting/financial role and prior experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/diagnostics sector. Advanced Microsoft excel training would also be highly favoured.
