Job description: What is the opportunity

As Business Analyst you will be participating in a high profile 18-month business transformation programme. You will support activity within a key programme workstream including the creation of full delivery plans and working with the Business and Programme Team to complete them. You will get the chance to work with a team of hard-working Business, programme and SME resources who’ll work together to deliver target business outcomes through this programme.

*This is a 12 month Contract role*

In this role you will:

  • Support the development of detailed workstream implementation plans including budget and resourcing requirements.
  • Work with business and Programme SMEs to ensure that workstream activities deliver the required business outcomes.
  • Support programme governance, organise and facilitate workshops, production of project collateral, documentation and coordination of workstream activities.
  • Manage and track progress of workstream tasks and day-to-day workstream deliverables including providing project status updates to the Workstream Lead and Central Programme Team. Ensure milestones, RAGs, paths to green and overall progress is efficiently and clearly tracked and messaged to the Programme Lead.
  • Responsible for resolving issues, initiating corrective action as appropriate and referring key issues upwards to the Project Manager, Workstream Lead and Central Programme Team.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation to support Workstream delivery including a detailed record of programme decisions with supporting roadmap for risk governance and associated risk assessments.
  • Responsible for the Quality Assurance and the overall integrity of the workstreams objectives.
  • Manage and ensure compliance of all proposed activity in accordance with the UK Change Framework.

  • Experience in a project / programme environment in Financial Services.
  • Have experience working in a complex organisation, and with multiple partners and can deal with people at various levels of the organisation. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong and effective relationships.

  • You hold yourself and others to high levels of personal and professional integrity. You passionately challenge the status quo, provide insightful critical thinking, find new solutions and embrace change.
  • Understanding of Banking Risk management practices and working in a regulated environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex environment with an excellent attention to detail
