About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. The Business Analyst will report into the Head of Business Analysis and will work closely with senior stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, create functional specifications, and ensure that software development meets business needs.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Create functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and other documentation as needed
- Collaborate with software developers and QA teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling
- Support Test Manager with test plans, test scripts and UAT
- Provide support to end-users during system implementation and post-implementation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions
About you:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is a self-starter. The individual needs to have the capability to turn business requirements into technical specifications utilising a number of different schematic methodologies to interpret these to both technical and business resources. Experience working as a Business Analyst working specifically in change projects in an agile DevOps team is essential.
Also required:
- Experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in mapping business processes and data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and project management methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of D365 would be advantageous
- Experience with core concepts of UX and User Driven Design is preferred

Both offices are centrally located in their respective cities, with the Sheffield office having the added bonus of free on-site parking.
