Job description: Do you have previous experience working with Shopify admin and are looking for a tech-focused role in a supportive and growing SME business? We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our central Bristol office, on a full-time, permanent basis, offering hybrid working, who shares our passion for our business, eCommerce and the brands that we work with.

About the role- Business Analyst The Business Analyst is responsible for improving the systems and processes that we use to service brands and providing operational management support across the business. This role sits within our Development department, reporting into the Product Owner. This is a brand new role in our team and there is an opportunity for you to take on further responsibilities in the future as the business grows.

The main responsibilities for our Business Analyst role include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with Product Owner and clients to understand what technologies and services are needed to fulfil their requirements.
  • Supporting the Development Department Head/ Project Manager/ Product Owner in scoping and defining project requirements and outcomes, particularly as they relate the use of 3rd Party services.
  • Providing systems/operational support, on Shopify Admin.
  • Support with store management, such as user and access control, billing etc.
  • Support with the management of some 3rd party integrations on our Shopify stores, for example Nosto, OneTrust etc.
  • Investigating the effectiveness of third party services and technologies that vvast utilises through process mapping, gap analysis etc.
  • Analysing the process and systems that vvast uses in order to maximise efficiencies, improve internal workflow and improve overall customer experience.
  • Areas of focus may include product management process, compliance management process etc.

  • A starting salary of £34,000-£36,000

The ideal Business Analyst will have experience working with Shopify admin, perhaps with some BA experience or a desire to move into this field. It would be a bonus if you have worked in an operations role within eCommerce, have experience of process mapping or GAP analysis, and have experience of working within a growing SME environment. You will be articulate, inquisitive, able to translate information to those with a non-tech background. Perhaps you might have experience as a System Analyst, Test Analyst, Product Support Officer, Operations Analyst, eCommerce Analyst, Project Support Officer, Project Coordinator, Admin Assistant to a technology executive, Customer Service Support or Technical Support.
