Are you a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a passion for legal business processes and procedures? Do you have a knack for problem-solving and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact?
Have you got experience in the investigation and documentation of system requirements, product testing or user experience and Business/Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance.
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in liaising with their business stakeholders, Product Owners, and IT team to facilitate effective analysis of processes, procedures, and business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and the IT team to enable efficient analysis of processes and challenges.
- Define and map processes, including functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and effective solution design.
- Define critical success factors, reporting, and alerting requirements.
- Develop and nurture relationships with Product Owners and third-party partners to optimize features and integrations.
- Conduct quality assurance, functional, and user acceptance testing as needed.
- Report on common technical issues and make recommendations to the product team.
- Provide key insights and findings to the Product team.
- Continuously monitor and improve technology experiences within the firm.
- Apply structured techniques to investigate needs, problems, and opportunities.
- Document the current situation and apply relevant techniques to structure information.
- Assist in developing options and recommendations for change.
- Redesign business process models to reflect improvements.
- Elicit requirements from stakeholders to identify business and user needs.
- Analyze, validate, prioritize, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify data requirements for business improvement.
- Support the management and controlled change of requirements.
- Assist in creating data models to illustrate data representation within the business system.
- Compare current and future state business situations to identify necessary changes.
- Define acceptance criteria for business and system changes.
- Identify and analyze stakeholders impacted by proposed changes and manage their interests effectively.
- Assess and document the drivers, costs, benefits, and impacts of proposed business changes.
Essential Skills Required:
- Proven experience in investigating and documenting system requirements.
- Proven experience in product testing or user experience.
- Strong ability to create and maintain process documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of legal business processes and procedures.
- Previous experience in Business/Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance.
The salary for this role is in the region of £40,000 to £50,000 + benefits and allows for 1 day a week remote working and 4 days a week in the Manchester city centre office.
Expected salary: £40000 per year
