About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to help drive forward our ambitions and growth.
You will be joining the Rethink Business Analysis Team and will be key to ensuring that our requirements are understood, easily translated into outcomes, and met by our technology delivery. You will need strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as you will work closely with our underwriters, as well as internal and external partners. You will be technically astute and enjoy being the bridge between technical teams, user groups and senior stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
- A technical mind-set, with the ability to explain to different audiences how complicated systems and services fit together, as well as the ability to challenge and push back where appropriate
- Product experience and ideas on how to ship high-quality products quickly and efficiently
- Deep experience in requirements elicitation from various stakeholder groups through interviews or workshops
- Knowledge and experience of how APIs can be designed, implemented and utilised in a commercial environment
- An entrepreneurial mind-set; a self-starter who can handle multiple workstreams and prioritise workloads
- An excellent knowledge of Agile delivery methods; an understanding of what makes good User Stories, and how to maintain a tidy product backlog as scope and requirements change, as well as the ability and willingness to coach others
- A ‘release early and often’ Agile mind-set
- Great communication and soft people skills to build trust with stakeholders and clients
- The ability to understand and document multifaceted business processes in a manner that is easily understood
