Job description: Business Analyst – SQL, Quick Base, Python

Salary – £45,000 – 55,000

Working Pattern – Hybrid from their Chelsea office (60 days of home working each year)

Do you have an extensive background in bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports?

Sentinel are working with a real estate business who are on a growth cycle and looking to upscale their team. We’re looking for a data focused Business Analyst who can come into the team and work with the Data Governance and Tableau Developers to better report the businesses data to internal and external stakeholders. The right candidate will have a logical approach to working with large data sets and be fluent in SQL and knowledge of the AWS cloud environments.

Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone that has a strong mix of the following skills and experience:

– Ability to apply logical thinking and strategy to create good clean data sets for reporting

– Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality

– Fluent in SQL

– Strong Python skills

– Experience working in an AWS environment (S3 and Redshift mainly)

– Experience working with Quick Base

– Any experience of working in the property industry in pricing would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

As the Business Analyst you’ll be responsible for:

– Have a proactive approach to working with Data Governance and Tableau Developers to improve the data visualisation capacities

– Longer term the idea is to grow the team out and have someone who can lead and train up a more junior resource

– Storing data in S3 and Redshift

– Both internal and external stakeholder management
