What will you be doing?
To support the effective deployment of DDaT Projects through the accurate capture of business and technical requirements. The Business Analyst is responsible for management and clarification of project requirements.
Specifically, the Business Analyst collates analyses, validates and documents business, technical, organisational and operational requirements. Changes may cover the full scope of AWS Systems and services including SAP/Infrastructure/Applications and IT Services.
The Business Analyst is a key facilitator within the project, assisting the Solution Manager to bridge the gap between the users, stakeholders and the solution team, translating what the business is asking for into a technical form which the developers / programmers / third parties can deliver.
Key responsibilities include:
Through participation in workshops, gain an understanding of non-functional requirements
Work cross-functionally to gather requirements and resolve issues
Produce high quality and detailed documentation
Contribute to enterprise architecture development from a business needs perspective
Capture and identify the performance, scalability, security and usability requirements
Define what the system, process or product/ service must do in order to fulfil the business requirements
Review and analysis of current working practices to identify the business requirements
Complete data analysis and where necessary report on findings
Support testing and ensure that requirements are being met throughout the project lifecycle.
What do you need?
As our next Business Analyst, we are looking for you to have knowledge of Prince 2, Agile and ITIL methodologies to compliment your experience of process mapping and business process re- engineering. With a thorough understanding of the legal implications of data management, you’ll be comfortable performing Business Analysis tasks and ideally have SAP / S4Hana experience although this is not essential.
Comfortable capturing and defining requirements, you’ll have experience of cross process working in an IT project Environments. You’ll be resilient and tenacious in completing tasks and work in a highly organised and methodical manner to deliver the best results to the business.
