Projects are varied but frequently include delivering ICT and process change.We are currently looking for a capable and experienced Business Analyst to join our service and support organisational priorities within our Property, Adult Social Care and Children’s Social Care Transformation Programmes.During assignments you will be expected to:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Subject Matter Experts from the service areas concerned, to determine and execute a suitable approach to achieving Project goals.
  • Identify and undertake all necessary Business Analysis tasks including gaining a solid understanding of current processes and pain points, developing ‘to be’ processes, eliciting requirements and carrying out user needs analysis.
  • Carry out research as to how comparable authorities, companies and suppliers deliver relevant services.
  • Shape and evaluate options to support Business Case development.
  • Document and communicate your findings and ideas to the project team, service, and other stakeholders.
  • Work on your own initiative and as part of a team – maximising delivery and associated benefits.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a range of skills of expertise including:

  • A high level of facilitation and communication skills
  • Process design & redesign experience
  • Requirements elicitation and development experience
  • Experience of developing new and existing processes, ideally in a local authority context.
  • The drive to proactively and continuously problem-solve and work creatively to maximise the effectiveness of the Services we deliver.
  • The ability to contribute to and thrive in a collaborative, evolving work environment.
  • Our expectation is that you will have adapted your BA practice to working remotely via Teams.
