Job description: Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a market leading business within the gambling industry.

  • Requirements Definition: Working with all stakeholders to clearly articulate and document the attributes that are key to the successful delivery of an initiative
  • Business Impact Assessment: The ability to assess and document the impacts associated with a change. This can either be in terms of successful delivery or in terms of detailing the impacts of an area of an initiative not delivering correctly
  • Business Case Validation : Working with various stakeholders to ensure that the Business Case has well founded assumptions and is comprehensive
  • Process Mapping: The provision of either / both “As is” and “To Be” process maps. This will also include the delivery when needed for “Gap Analysis” and recommendations for change
  • The role holder will often work within a Project Structure and will need to ensure that the Project Manager is fully aware of any Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies and Opportunities. These can all be then tracked and actioned as part of the standard project process
  • The role holder may lead and manage resources assigned to their projects. This can either be direct reports or via Matrix Management
  • Will use standardised tools and methodologies in the execution of any analysis and impact assessment
  • Evaluate and ensure end user readiness while tracking and escalating any issues associated with the change management activity.
  • Provide timely and accurate status reporting

  • 3 – 5 years of Business Analysis experience or working in a project / programme management environment
  • Professional education and training in business analysis and project related activities
  • Considered subject matter expert across multiple disciplines
  • Understands gaming and gambling industry or can evidence working in similar digital, customer facing environments
  • Able to communicate with persons at all levels of seniority to formulate, communicate and implement ideas and concepts
  • Capable of formulating and driving independent decisions and recommendations
  • Demonstrates ability to coordinate creativity, analysis and problem solving of many individuals which leads to consensus on solutions
  • Considered an expert on methodologies, tools, best practices and processes across multiple technology areas as well as on process improvement and business analysis
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. Recognized that different cultures and levels of seniority require different approaches
  • Strong facilitation skills

I am currently working with a market leading company within the gambling industry.

My client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their business as they roll out some exciting and innovate projects.

This role is based in Manchester and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office.

  • Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
