Job description: Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to join our highly skilled and dynamic Sales team. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Oxfordshire or the Midlands, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

The Business Analyst is required to evaluate complex data sets (such as sales volumes), conduct research, develop internal and external documentation and present overall findings from go-to-market sprints, helping to inform the overall strategy for Sales & Aftersales.

You will work closely with the Sales, Aftersales, Product and Pricing to deliver a highly detailed assessment of each market entry, showing superb attention to detail. This role will support the Head of Sales Operations in assssing the viability of the worldwide markets Forseven are targeting to enter, backed up by rich data and by building a solid understanding of each market.

What you will do:

• Responsible for evaluating key data sources, analysing and manipulating that information into a coherent view of international markets on a country-by-country basis that can inform the chosen strategy for Forseven to enter the market and, once established, meet and exceed their business objectives.

• Undertaking an assessment of each proposed market – looking at overall sales volumes, volumes relative to competitor brands, before defining realistic yearly sales targets depending on the sales channels available, the evolution of electric vehicles in market and any relevanet social, legal, environmental, political, and technological factors.
• Armed with a realistic volume, defining the overall network strategy through intensive research of the proposed market – key sales channels, strategy for retail and facilities, initial Aftersales requirements and their locations.
• Consolidating the in-depth market analysis and network strategy to help inform the company Business Case – calculating yearly Capex and Opex required to launch and maintain a presence in the proposed markets.
• Run and play back the analysis of data sources that help to inform the market specific 8-week Business Case ‘sprint’ for launch markets, as well as being gatekeeper of the materials that will support the final board presentation or be used as a point of reference in future market launches.
• Travel, where resource and budget allows, into market to build an even greater understanding of trends, culture and future growth outside of the data sets and desk research.
• Playbooking the processes and procedures to conduct go-to-market analysis that can be applied to future market studies.

Who you are:

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and strong working knowledge of other relevant Microsoft applications.
• Analytically minded – able to shape data to tell a compelling story, visualising data in a clear and concise way.
• Commercial acumen and looking to advance their career in data and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills, with an inate ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports to a very high standard.
