Your Role
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) are seeking a Business Analyst who can confidently work within an Agile product team or multi-disciplinary team to deliver a variety of different products. You must be an excellent communicator and able to work with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be able to work closely with stakeholders using different techniques such as workshops or interviews, amongst others, to be able to understand their needs. You will be able to translate these into requirements or user stories that can be used by your team to progress delivery. You will be experienced in process mapping and be able to identify areas for improvement whilst providing justification for these changes.

You will be able to understand and manage complex requirements and collaborate with varying teams whilst building the relationships with other business areas to understand their current challenges and future aspirations. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently.
In addition to this, you will demonstrate the skills and experience in the following key areas:
· Ability to understands the Business Strategy and teams’ strategic objectives and how you can contribute to them.
· Contribute to the development and improvement of team practices.
· Solve and unblock issues between teams or departments.
· Identifies both functional and non-functional requirements
· Defines requirements standards and quality targets.
· Expert in a range of agile, waterfall and hybrid Business Analysis techniques.
· Responsible for ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and interpreted into signed off deliverables.
· Experience of coordinating and managing workshops with a range of stakeholders.
What we can offer you
This is a permanent role and comes with a salary of £48,860 – £53,317 per annum depending on experience. This is comprised of base salary plus market supplement, (£37,435 – £41,892 + plus MFS £9,500, the market supplement is paid monthly and reviewed annually).
