We are looking for a self-driven, energetic, and motivated Business Analyst to join our ambitious and highly motivated Operations team. You will interface with Global business users across functional areas to understand analytic data needs and provide insights and solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about Data Analytics to help transform the Business Intelligence area of a leading Audit Management Software company.

This position will report to the Associate Director Projects & Programs and will help drive global strategic and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and convert these into data driven solutions.
  • Extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
  • Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures using tools and techniques to visualize the data into diagrams and graphs when needed.
  • Perform statistical analysis of data where needed.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system modifications.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully. Develop alternative solutions.
  • Collaborate with database developers and product owners to improve systems and database designs.
  • Provide system support and training as needed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Profile:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: ​

  • University graduates or 1-3 years working experience as a business or data analyst.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and assess business needs and dynamics on cross-functional basis.
  • Functional knowledge of business strategy, marketing, sales and pricing principles.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, predictive modeling and segmentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using program languages for analysing large datasets (Excel, Python, R, SAS etc.).
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus (or willing to learn).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Fluency in English written and spoken.
