What does a day look like for you here?

Working on home-based basis on a 6-month contract, you will work in partnership with the IT team to support the organisation in in defining, analysing, and documenting business requirements for various IT projects. Within this role, you will review existing business processes to ensure they’re well-defined and in line with the organisation’s strategy, while also ensuring that IT solutions effectively meet business needs.

Effective collaboration with stakeholders across departments will be vital in identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for appropriate solutions. Through your ongoing collaboration efforts, you’ll gather and analyse business requirements, document business processes and functional requirements, identify improvement opportunities, analyse data to aid decision-making, ensure compliance with legal and industry standards, and stay updated on industry trends.

You will also act as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the IT team and be responsible for understanding the needs and objectives of the business and translating them into actionable requirements that can guide the development of IT solutions or business processes.

Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Business Analyst within the IT industry and have a proven track record in defining, analysing and documenting business processes. You’ll need strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to decipher complex processes and propose effective solutions. Building effective relationships with stakeholders is also key, so you will need solid interpersonal skills to help accomplish your goals.

You should also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in Project Management
  • Understanding or experience of working in Agile development environment
