Job Description
Are you an experienced Business Analyst working in front office and across the full change lifecycle?
We now have a permanent opportunity here within Legal & General Investment Management for a Business Analyst. Your role will have the responsibility for investigating and analysing business situations, identifying and evaluating options for improving business systems, elaborating and defining requirements, and ensuring the effective implementation and use of information systems in line with the needs of the business.
The Business Analyst role requires an experienced business analyst capable of conducting all aspects of structured business analysis and requirements management from the early stages of project inception, through to delivery. The Analyst must be able to effectively identify and manage both internal and external stakeholders appropriately, according to their needs.
This role will require someone who is self-starting and inquisitive, comfortable working in complex delivery environments. Excellent communications skills are also a pre-requisite.
Qualifications
- Evidence of a structured approach to analysis and documentation, using recognised tools and techniques
- Experience of requirements elicitation and design, and operating model definition
- Experience using Business Process Modelling
- Experience of investment operations including collateral, securities lending, and reporting
- Experience of Agile/iterative delivery and contribution to/creation of business cases
- Experience of full project lifecycle with a client journey and product-led focus
- Sound understanding of IT software and infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organised with strong time-management skills
