Business Analyst – Logistics
Hybrid
Based in Spalding / Remote. The role is flexible, with the expectation that there might be occasional travel to our Fulfilment Centres or Office. Our HQ is in London and we have Factories and Fulfilment Centres across the UK.
Overview
The Logistics Transformation team works closely with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations and tech, to come up with solutions to our biggest customer and Supply Chain problems. The role will be focused on improving both middle mile (transport) and final mile operations; reducing costs and driving innovation alongside increasing the level of automation and administration across the Logistics Operations team.
As the Logistics Business Improvement Analyst you will be leading Continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to support the agenda for your specified Logistics & Supply Chain domain(s).
What you will do
- Seek opportunities for continual improvement to achieve efficiencies/improvements in customer experience and internal processes.
- Project Manage
- Impact assessment of processes within their domain for CI related changes
- Ongoing work with process owners to implement change and process map
- Change management; including testing
- Capture and manage business readiness criteria ahead of any CI changes
- Develop data and trend analysis of Management Information
- You may be developing and designing dashboards through our BI tool
- Create clear lists of master data requirements for your domain(s) and work with the data teams to ensure they are in place or being worked on as part of future roadmaps
The ideal candidate will have
- ERP/WMS/MRP knowledge, ideally JDA / D365
- Industry experience across FMCG/E-commerce/Consumer Goods
- Experience writing queries in SQL
- Experience creating dashboard using BI tools
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and ability to identify opportunities to use them.
- Agile project management and a fundamental understanding of agile ceremonies.
