Job description: Join our Strategic Initiatives team in Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets group. Our team manages the design, implementation and embeddedness of regulatory and remediation initiatives that support client and strategic business objectives.

What role will you play?

You will work with various stakeholders to transform processes, practices and systems to improve the management of risk in a newly initiated program of work.

You will play a key role in documenting operational design and processes and leverage technology to automate and digitise processes and solutions.

In addition, you will design and deliver enhancements, strategic projects, and operational improvements to meet business needs.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience within financial services in a business analyst, data analyst or operations role, preferably with knowledge of operational risk
  • Ability to interpret prudential standards and other relevant requirements and document assumptions
  • Experience with the documentation of detailed business requirements, including both functional and non-functional specifications, current and proposed future state processes and data requirements
  • Experience with stakeholder management and delivery co-ordination
  • Experience with document and own business acceptance test cases, lead detailed testing, and validate results against documented requirements
  • Ability to manage, review, and analyse testing issues and identify options and recommendations.
