Job description: I am currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst who has experience working within the Money industry working on projects relating to credit cards, loans, savings accounts etc. This is an initial 6 month contract, outside IR35, and 4 days working from home & 1 day based in Peterborough.Applicants MUST HAVE experience in the money industry to be considered for the role.Responsibilities:
- Conducting effective analysis to clarify, evaluate business problems and requirements for change in a manner which supports the business strategic goals of the initiative / project. This includes documentation of requirements using various methods, such as: Process Mapping; Story Maps; Use Cases; Impact Mapping; Functional and Non-Functional Requirements Specifications; Features (User Stories), Data Mapping and Data Profiling.
- Responsible for scope management of medium to large complexity initiatives. Focusing on delivering value frequent and often.
- Accountable and Responsible for creating quality stories in a timely manner to ensure a healthy backlog for your team.
- Accountable and Responsible for keeping your Product and Business Analysis artifacts relevant and up to date (e.g. process maps, workflow’s, acceptance requirements, requirements, data models, story maps, etc.)
- Advocate Agile and Lean principles for product development.
- Responsible for conducting gap analysis of any new requirements and articulate business impact.
Experience required:
- Experience working in the money industry on projects relating to credit cards, loans, and/or savings accounts etc.
- Strong experience as an end-to-end Business Analyst, doing process mapping, story maps, user cases, impact mapping, functional and non-functional requirement specifications, data mapping, data profiling etc.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, able to work across the business at all levels
- Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical teams
