Job description: About the role/Responsibilities:The Smarter Regulation‑ Digital Team is responsible delivering various digital products aimed at reducing the costs of regulatory compliance. The purpose of this Statement of Work is to deliver the SRD Digital Team’s three main priorities: Delivering the Beta phase of the Open Regulation Platform (ORP); Redesigning Gov.uk content relating to smarter regulation; and Developing MVP and prototype versions of Gov.uk services helping businesses meet their regulatory duties in particular sectors. Remote role with occasional visits to the office. SC Clearance required.What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements for refreshing the ORP codebase.
- Conduct analysis to identify and prioritize areas of technical debt and improvements needed in the codebase.
- Work closely with the software engineering team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Assist in the development of MVP versions of Gov.uk services aimed at assisting businesses in meeting their regulatory duties.
- Provide support in the redesign of the Smarter Regulation Gov.uk presence, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
About you/Experience
- You can strategically shape and lead analysis as part of multi-disciplinary teams operating within programme, portfolio or scaled agile methodologies.
- You have demonstratable experience of successfully contributing to the delivery of Digital products and projects in the Public Sector using GDS.
- You can select the appropriate business modelling techniques that are most effective to help people understand the situations, problems, and solutions.
- You are comfortable designing and influencing improvements to business structures, processes and information flows supported appropriately with automation and technology.
- You are a confident and clear communicator, comfortable working with strategic stakeholders to establish and deliver goals efficiently.
