Job description: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a market leading financial organization based in North Yorkshire. As the Business Analyst you will work on a wide range of ongoing projects involving various internal systems (HR/Payroll/Finance etc.), cloud migrations, mobile applications and website improvements. You will work across the entire SDLC, from gathering requirements, producing functional specifications through to AT. The role is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.
The successful Business Analyst will have at least 2 years’ experience in business analysis and have experience covering the entire SDLC from gathering requirements through to UAT. You will have experience of conducting workshops, user stories, producing functional specifications in either (or both) an Agile and Waterfall environment. The Business Analyst will have excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience. Any experience working in a professional services organization is beneficial, as is experience with SaaS.
Business Analyst Essential Key Skills
- 2 years+ experience working as Business Analyst
- Experience covering the full SDLC from gathering requirements through to UAT
- Experience conducting workshops, user stories and producing functional specifications
- Experience working in either an Agile or Waterfall environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a professional services organization (legal/accounting/finance etc)
- Experience with SaaS
