POSITION OVERVIEW

A critical role supporting the Business Development and Senior Management Teams. Your role will add value by supporting the teams in achieving the strategic plan and the company’s long-term vision for business development and growth. This position will be required to research and report on market conditions, customer growth plans, including analytics, changes with-in the aviation sector and opportunities for development.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a key role in supporting the Manager Business Development Analytics and Agreements in preparation of documentation for the Business Development & Senior Management team.
  • Prepare Company documents as required for Business Development Team.
  • Prepare and maintain Company presentations.
  • Prepare information packs on Schedule, Aircraft, Routes and growth etc for Key Stakeholders prior to Customer meetings.
  • Provide input/support for commercial administrative duties.
  • Review and analyze market trends daily and report changes to the Business Development team.
  • Work with the Business Development team to prepare documents that are relevant to the potential customer’s requirements.
  • Deep analysis on growth and future plans for airlines (New aircraft, changes to fleet)
  • Research and report on new startup airline opportunities
  • Support the Business Development team and Stakeholders with updating the CRM tool.
  • Ensure brand integrity in maintained across all correspondence in line with company policies.
  • Work within the Sales and Marketing library and platforms, within an agreed procedure ensuring data integrity, ease of access and availability.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in business administration, aviation, or similar field.
  • 1-3 years of successful work experience in a Commercial or Business Development role / or relevant role.
  • Evidence of the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Capability and understanding of market research methods and analysis – Key focus around social media, internet data capture and the ability to present results in multiple formats.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and evidence of exceptional Microsoft proficiency, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with your own initiative and under pressure.
  • Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention in detail.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and aircraft.
  • Ability to process data and manage documentation.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
