About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Business Management graduate to work on an exciting project with Peterborough based Landmark Theatres Ltd and ARU. 

You’ll lead this management focussed Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project which will strengthen Landmark Theatres’ existing business acumen, finance management and leadership by introducing innovation, development and change management. You’ll establish a systemised approach to fundraising across senior leadership, establishing a model of shared responsibility for organisational funding development. You’ll be a change driver who is able to embed yourself effectively in an organisation that is values driven, entrepreneurial, fast moving and opportunistic. 

Employed by the ARU, you will be based at Landmark Theatre’s premises in Peterborough supported by a senior company manager alongside regular supervision from ARU’s academic team.

You will have a BSc in Business Management or Arts Management degree. Knowledge, understanding and an enthusiastic approach for theatre. Understanding of change management methodologies, experience of economic and social impact analysis and business planning experience, preferably in practice are essential for this role. Ability to get the best out of senior leaders and other team members, ability to successfully manage both risks and opportunities, entrepreneurial approach, proven project management at scale and strong communications and presentation skills are also essential for this role.

Please note, the chosen applicant will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Landmark Theatres is a portfolio of regional venues in Peterborough and North Devon receiving a wide variety of arts and cultural opportunities for local communities. This includes major touring productions, high-profile live music acts, big-name stand-up comedy, dance, superb theatre and new writing. About KTP:

For 45 years the KTP programme has been helping businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK knowledge base (KB). Currently around 800 businesses, 100 KBs and 800+ graduates are involved in KTPs. KTPs are funded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) and are part of the government’s Industrial Strategy.
