The Role
Applications are invited from experienced project and/or business improvement managers for a new, fixed term role in the newly formed Project Delivery Team in Education Services. Education Services is part of the University’s professional services and provides support to students and staff across the University and Colleges.
The Project Delivery team is a small group of project, business improvement and change experts who deliver, or support the delivery, of a range of transformational projects across Education Services in areas such as assessment, admissions and student finances. Projects can range from small, simple enhancements to major change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across and beyond the University.
Main responsibilities
Collaborating with team members and stakeholders across the Collegiate University, you will design and implement projects that deliver effective solutions to meet the needs of a diverse academic community. Communicating effectively and enthusiastically about the projects on which you work, and championing change that drives business improvement, are important aspects of this role.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a programme of work implementing recommendations of a recent review of the University’s arrangements for exam allowances, mitigations and reasonable adjustments. This will include managing a review of the University’s approach to support for disabled students to be conducted by an external consultancy. They may also participate in other projects within the Team’s remit, so a proactive approach to teamwork and to time management is key.
