The Opportunity:
The School of Engineering is a world authority in innovative research and multidisciplinary education, a talented community of experts aspiring to create the answers to global problems. We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Business Intelligence Analyst to join our business improvement and change management team. Working in partnership with a variety of academic and professional services colleagues, you will balance an aptitude and enthusiasm for data management and evaluation with stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
You will provide support to enable evidence-based decision making across the School’s diverse range of business areas, through the provision of a comprehensive set of business intelligence resources. You will contribute to the development of a School-wide business intelligence and management information strategy. Initial projects will include the creation of a data management plan to enable academic work allocation.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- Proven experience of gathering, analysing, interpreting and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Experience with software applications used for managing and analysing quantitative data.
- Strong interpersonal skills; flexible, approachable and helpful.
- The ability to translate technical expertise into language that people with a range of competencies can understand.
- Proven ability to maintain consistent high standards when working under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
