BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance – this post is subject to BPSS checks. You will therefore be required to consent to and comply with BPSS checking requirements prior to commencing in this post. This check involves verification of identity; nationality and immigration status; employment history (past 3 years) and basic criminal record check.

Are you:

  • Interested in developing and/or using existing IT skills to gather, record, update and process data for the Children and Families Contact Centre and the wider Customer Service Organisation including invoicing and ordering supplies?
  • A good communicator, both written and verbal to assist colleagues, and partners/stakeholders?
  • Flexible and able to respond quickly to the needs of a fast paced, high-volume business?
  • A customer focused individual who is proud to make the customer journey an excellent one for everyone who contacts us including the following:
  • Safeguarding contacts
  • Citizens with mental health challenges
  • Older people
  • Homelessness
  • Carers
  • Children and new-born babies
  • Children missing from home

  • Equipment and technology enabled care (TEC)

The successful candidate must be:

  • confident using or willing to be trained to use Liquid Logic, Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel, SAP etc to support a team that work 24/7 365 dealing with social care enquires in respect of Children, Adults and Families.
  • able to manage time sensitive work and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Be a good communicator both written and verbally
  • willing to work 7 hours each day starting at either 9.00am or 10.30am on a rota
