Job description: The Company:Our client is the Shared Service Centre for a global Media business with offices in London. Growth sees them recruiting for a new position – Business Analytics Manager. The Role:As the Reporting and Analytics Program Manager, you will lead the Reporting and Analytics Program across part of Europe enabling our operating companies to thrive. Collaborating with the user community, IT, and third-party consultants, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our corporate Reporting platform. This position demands a proactive individual who excels in project management, governance, and fostering collaboration.Responsibilities:Leverage project management skills to drive reporting and analytics solutions.Liaise with and influence key stakeholders and business partners.Collaborate with business partners to develop reports, analytics, and dashboards.Own user requirements, ensuring fulfilment from design through delivery.Troubleshoot reporting issues and perform root cause analysis.Deliver training and address questions/issues within the user community.Provide valuable insight and new ideas for continuous improvement.Improve existing project/program management processes and governance.Collaborate with technical resources on system-related issues and initiatives.Operate in global accounting shared service environments to maintain reporting standards.Maintain internal operations and change control documentation. Your ProfileThis role essentially sits between IT and Finance therefore the client is looking for a candidate who has an understanding or background in finance but has moved into the IT/Tech and systems space. You will need to have used Cognos, Power Bi or Tableau as this is what will be used to run reports. Stakeholder management and business partnering skills are essential in this role as you will act as a bridge between both teams and 3rd party clients. European langauge skills would be adventegeous.
