We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team at a large UK based management firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for our applications and systems, with a focus on data management and system administration. The role requires strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth operation of our systems.

This position will initially be a FTC, with an option to extended upon successful completion.

This role will be based from my clients Leeds city centre office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for our applications and systems, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and root cause analysis
  • Work closely with teams to ensure applications and business systems are operating as intended
  • Perform system administration tasks such as user data management and data cleansing
  • Performing system testing, troubleshooting, and providing ongoing support during and after the consolidation process.
  • Developing comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and user guides
  • Customise and configure the system according to business needs
  • Report Wizard and workflow building
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Assist the team leaders with training on functionality and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the consolidated system
  • Use Excel to analyse and manipulate large amounts of data

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support, data management, and system administration
  • Strong experience working with MRI QUBE with good knowledge of tables database, PPMS, Purchase Ledger and General Ledger
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues
  • Familiarity with system administration tasks such as user management, security, backups, and system monitoring
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate large amounts of data
  • Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel Power Query & Power BI
  • Experience working in an agile environment
