Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment.We achieved Gold accreditation against the Investors in People standard framework in 2023 in recognition of people management excellence and our commitment to investment in people.The purpose of the role:Various new systems and technologies have been invested in which has led to growth within Finance Transformation, so a new Process & Business Transformation Analyst is required to join our team. Reporting to the Systems Accountant, you will be involved in system implementation, process improvement, vendor selection, and being the system admin for allocated software.This role will be very well suited to a candidate who is curious, technically minded and a continuous learner. You don’t have to be an expert yet, we will show you how.Working as Business Transformation Analyst you will:

  • Assess current financial processes for potential enhancements and streamlining opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and transformation using technology & data;
  • Assist with business process change initiatives and development of requirements for new technology solutions;
  • Create detailed maps of both existing and proposed processes, fostering clarity and understanding among the Finance team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to evaluate and implement finance-related technologies, aiming to boost automation and efficiency.
  • Design, develop, and deploy analytics applications using our self-service analytics platform.
  • Formulate and implement data governance strategies to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance in financial data.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of finance transformations.
  • Acquire an in-depth knowledge of all in-house Finance systems and provide training and support to finance team members on these systems.

Skills for SuccessJoining us as Business Transformation Analyst the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

  • Previous experience delivering successful business change or process improvement initiatives.
  • Technical competence
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • An understanding of Root Cause Analysis through to capturing acceptance criteria.
  • A Full UK/EU Driver’s License

The Attributes you’ll need include:

  • Ability to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

It is Desirable if you have:

  • A Degree or Certifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: financial modelling, data analysis tools, and project management software
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation
  • Experience using BI Tools, e.g Qliksense/Qlikview
  • Demonstrated understanding of one or more of the following ERP platforms, financial systems, and emerging financial technologies

Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday.
