Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of Cancer Pathway Navigators. The role with be to support patient target lists ensuring patients are tracked correctly and quickly to ensure they are given a confirmed or non-confirmed diagnosis of cancer. You will work with a large team in order to track these patients and will be responsible for the accurate and timely tracking on the Trusts systems.Main duties of the jobUsing cancer patient tracking list (PTL) to monitor and actively push newly referred suspected cancer patients through investigations within the national cancer targets. This includes ensuring they have received their results as quickly as possible, including benign outcomes, in a timely manner. Working with Cancer Services and Urology teams to achieve this. Future planning to request additional clinics to ensure patients avoid breaching either pathway targets.
