Job description: We have an exciting opportunityfor a pharmacist to develop their knowledge and skillsin Cancer Services. You will be supported by a team of experienced Pharmacists working to provide chemotherapy to patients across east Kent.You will work with our Oncology and Haematology Pharmacists as well as the Aseptic Production Unit and Dispensary teams to ensure chemotherapy is supplied safely and appropriately.Main duties of the jobTo provide clinical pharmacy input into the oncology/haematology prescriptions generated from Chemotherapy Units across the Trust.To support the Aseptics Unit in supplying systemic anticancer and clinical trials medical products.To identify risk management issues and develop safe systems of practice within the chemotherapy units.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with fivehospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people.
