Part Time, 20 hours per week, University Term Time only

Salary will be £20,547 per annum pro rata (£10.90 per hour)

Catering & Hospitality Assistants play a super-important role in the UEA’s ‘The Campus Kitchen’ in providing efficient support for our outlets and delivered hospitality department. This role is for part time work on a university term time only basis. 

Working mainly in our busy hospitality department, but with the potential to work in any of our 14 outlets across campus too, you will assist with preparation and service of delivered catering and events. You will also ensure deliveries are completed correctly and on time, and that large functions and served dinners run smoothly.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to drive UEA vehicles and therefore must be able to evidence a full UK driving licence at interview. 

If you are keen to work in UEA’s busy food & drink outlets and have good experience working in catering outlets this role could be perfect for you!

Is this role for me?

You will demonstrate the ability to work hard within a fast-paced environment; consistently demonstrate great customer service; display enthusiasm and have a willingness to support your team. Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment with some barista training or experience is preferred, but not essential. You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, day, weekend and evening shifts for 20 hours per week, 28 weeks per year (University term time only).
