The Role
The College Dining Services invites applications for Part-Time Catering Assistants, to work in all aspects of food service delivery within the College. As a valued Dining Services team member, you will work with both permanent and casual members of staff to provide a high level of service and other varied tasks to the College and its guests, including student dining, College feasts, staff food, weddings, conference business and special dinners. The College serves approximately 800 meals per day to students, staff, Fellows and guests. Some experience in customer service as a waiter would be advantageous, good attention to detail and the ability to provide all types of services in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Within these posts we are recruiting to fulfil a range of part time hours and a variety of schedules, which will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Working patterns will be discussed in more detail at interview stage. Please note that these positions are part year – college term-time only.
The full-time equivalent salary for the post is £23,730 (pro-rated for part time hours as necessary).
