Role Purpose

The Finance Manager is a key accounting position in the group finance team, providing financial control of c$50m of costs of the central functions of Menzies Aviation, providing business partnering, analysis and advice on high value investment projects and initiatives and a key finance stakeholder in business development and investment activity throughout the business.

What you will be doing

• Responsibility for timely and accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts for the central support functions, and related analyses versus forecast and budget.
• Senior finance business partner for global IT and GSE investment, projects and cost control. Working closely with the senior management leads for these workstreams.
• Key finance stakeholder in business development analysis and transactions, providing analysis and technical finance advice.
• Lead complex financial modelling development and design and finance system development and innovative tools such as Power BI
• Working with the wider group finance team on business planning, modelling and analysis
• Key finance stakeholder in global, multi-currency liquidity planning, forecasting and reporting

What we are looking for

• A qualified chartered/certified accountant.
• High level of drive and initiative with the ability to problem solve and think analytically.
• Ability to communicate confidently and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills including the ability to effectively identify deadlines and prioritise work.
• Excellent working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software and ideally experience of accounting and reporting systems.
