Job description: Do you want to work for one of the UK’s largest Trusts?We have an excellent part time opportunity within the General & Specialist Medicine Care Group at The William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.We are looking for a person who has some previous experience of working in an acute fast paced environment, but we also encourage applications from Senior Nurses or those from other health care environments.Main duties of the jobTo provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs.By working clinically as a member of the nursing team you will work in partnership with the Ward Manger to provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership for a ward-based team of qualified and non-qualified staff. The post holder will be required to deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care. Leading clinical nursing practicewithin the clinical area. Securing and assuring the highest standards of clinical care with the support of the Matron and Head of Nursing.
