Our client is able to provide you with a very professional, but relaxed working atmosphere, as well as extensive company benefits!The companyOur client is a well-established and growing IFA based in London, who take pride in providing independent financial advice to ultra high-net worth customers.RoleAs a Paraplanner within this firm you would be working as part of productive, high performing office. You will work in a small team, having direct contact and providing full support to a High Net Worth Adviser. Your role would be to offer the most welcoming, efficient, professional and effective service possible, with a high focus on quality and accuracy.Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical/bespoke suitability reports
  • Ensure all relevant compliance paperwork has been carried out
  • Carry out technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process
  • Work closely with the in-house investments team
  • Discuss client objectives with the relevant Financial Planner, identifying and obtaining necessary client information in order to prepare the necessary suitability check
  • Regularly participate in team meetings, including highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution

To be successful you will need

  • Extensive experience in the role of a Paraplanner
  • Achieved Chartered or Fellow status, or very close to attaining this
  • Extremely strong technical knowledge of investments, pensions, tax and trust plans
  • Proven success in a paraplanning role
