Job description: Aviation Recruitment experts Optime Group are proudly working in partnership with a well-known Gatwick Airport ground handling business to recruit a team of Flexible working Check In Agent’s.

What’s on offer:
- £13.76 per hour
- 2 weeks paid training provided (all 10 days of training are compulsory to complete the course)
- Work as little or as often as you like* (Must pick up a minimum of 20 hours per week)

Shifts :
In order to be able to pick a minimum of 20 hours per week, you must be flexible with start and finish times of your shifts:
- 3:00am to 09:00am
- 04:00am to 13:00pm
- 13:00pm to 22:00pm
- 14:00pm to 19:00pm
- 17:00pm – 22:00pm
*Minimum weekly hours required for training purposes.
Key Duties:
- Greeting and checking in passenger baggage for their respective flights.
- Checking passports, visa documentation and flight details.
- Offering and aiding customers’ needs.
- Direct customers to the right location and assist if needed.
- Monitoring of baggage weights and applying extra cost if needed.
- Reconciliation of passengers at Boarding Gates.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours).
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpretational skills
- UK Settled Status (If applicable)
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of (current) Address
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
