Job description: Are you an experienced Check Manager looking for a new opportunity?

JMC are working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Hampshire, looking to recruit a Check Manager to join their expanding team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Hampshire with an immediate start date.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Check Manager will be responsible for leading aircraft checks, ensuring they run to time and resources are allocated in the most efficient, safe and compliant manner.

The responsibilities of the Check Manager will involve:

– Understanding the General Trading Agreements (GTAs) and specific aircraft maintenance contracts pertaining to their allocated inputs

– Identifying manpower, facility, tooling and spares requirements

– Ensuring that all maintenance, defect rectification and modifications carried out under their control are conducted in a smooth, compliant, safe and effective manner

– Managing their allocated teams in order to provide efficient, effective, productive and compliant outputs

– Effective leadership, management and control of all maintenance personnel and supporting resources under their control at any time

– Embracing and supporting cultural and procedural changes within the business

In order to be successful in this role, the Check Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

– UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence, plus Cat C rating

– A minimum of two relevant type ratings and recency desirable (Airbus A320, Boeing B727, Boeing B737 Classic/NG and Boeing B757)

– Experience of managing aircraft checks in a base maintenance environment

– Ability to understand aircraft check data to make informed and appropriate decisions

– Right to live and work in the UK
