Job Description
Salary: Equivalent to Consultant, GP, Senior Lecturer or Lecturer payscale
Post Type: Fixed Term part time 0.1 FTE
We are looking for an exceptional clinician with experience in medical education and assessment. The post holder will have responsibility for the delivery and oversight of all assessments for Penultimate Year Medical students. It is an excellent opportunity to be involved formally in the assessment of future colleagues and work with a committed clinical, academic and administrative assessment team.
Key attributes of the successful applicant include:
- Experience as a clinician to at least SpR / Clinical Lecturer level (current or recent)
- Proven record in medical education (appropriate training and support will be provided)
- Accurate worker, high attention to detail and high level of organisation
- Passion for delivering high quality assessment
- Strong organisation and time-management
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and students
- Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems.
