Enabling seamless integration between clinical and at-home measurements, our first clinical product is BioEP: the biomarker of epilepsy, which can reveal the risk of future seizures from short segments of routinely collected brain data.

The role of Chief Medical Officer
As our chief medical officer, you will be a practising neurologist or consultant neurophysiologist with a strong interest in how new technologies can be developed and deployed in healthcare settings. You will be motivated by a desire to optimise diagnosis and management of neurological conditions. With a strong understanding of epilepsy and differential conditions, you will additionally lead the company’s journey into other neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury and dementia. You will have a strong clinical network and be comfortable negotiating with key stakeholders. We envisage you continuing to hold a role within the NHS or another private healthcare provider.
In this role you will:
- Develop and deliver the medical and clinical strategy for assessment and deployment of Neuronostics’ products in public and private healthcare settings;
- Lead dialogue with academic and clinical thought leaders, including building an advisory board of clinical key opinion leaders;
- Contribute to analysis and interpretation of data from clinical studies and reporting of results and make clinical decisions based on the data available, where appropriate;
- Work closely with our regulatory, technical, scientific and business development teams in the evolution of Neuronostics’ products;
- Act as the medical representative of the company in business development and investor activities;
- Act as Line Manager for members of our clinical team;
- Act as an ambassador for Neuronostics; and
- Guide developments at clinical interface and advise on strategies to complement the pathways in clinical care within the NHS.
This list of duties is indicative, and the final set will be agreed upon with the preferred candidate.
Requirements
Essential:
- Medically qualified ideally with a strategic position within the NHS;
- Interests in epilepsy as well as other neurological conditions such as NEAD, TBI, sleep disorders, stroke, autism or dementia;
- Experience of how new technologies are developed and deployed, ideally within different healthcare governance structures;
- Experience of successfully influencing key decisions and leading opinions; and
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Stakeholder engagement is at the heart of what we do.
