Chief People Officer, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
Job Description
Job title: Chief People Officer, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
Company: Alumni Global
Job description: Welcome Letter
Dear Candidate
Thank you for your interest in the role of Chief People Officer for the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) NHS Foundation Trust. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our Board and I am looking forward to meeting you.
We care passionately about our mission of “Saving lives, Improving lives”, and our values of Care, Appreciate and Inspire, which anchor us to who we are, and where we want to be in the future.
It has been a couple of years since I joined the NCA, and I remain humbled by the commitment and dedication shown by the many thousands of colleagues that work across our Salford, Bury, Oldham and Rochdale locations and places. These colleagues are also a part of the specialist care that we provide regionally, nationally, and internationally, which is why having our people at the heart of everything we do is a crucial bedrock to enabling us to meet the needs of our communities through delivery of our Vision 10.
Our values and behaviours define what’s important to us as we work alongside each other and with our patients and service users. They also shape what it feels like to work at the NCA and will be central to your development and performance conversations. Together, we will create a culture where care, appreciation and inspiration thrive.
As Chief People Officer, you will serve as a key member of our Executive Team, leading the People Directorate to deliver our People Strategy and contribute to the people ambitions outlined in Vision 10. Your forward-thinking and innovative approach will be crucial in building a culture that is patient and person-centred, empowers colleagues, and promotes care, inspiration, appreciation, and personal accountability, bringing a passion for excellent patient care and a focus on equity and inclusion, both for our colleagues and our communities.
We seek an exceptional leader with drive, vision, and integrity. Your ability to build credibility, inspire confidence, and collaborate across organisational boundaries will be key to your success in this role, as will your ability to work collaboratively across the Greater Manchester Integrated Care System. As the custodian of our Trust values, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of care, inspiration, and accountability.
We are excited about the prospect of welcoming a dynamic leader to our team who shares our commitment to excellence in patient care and creating an empowering workplace. If you feel that you align with these values and possess the qualities we are seeking, please take a look at our dedicated microsite and contact our advisors at Alumni Global for further information.
Yours sincerely
Dr Owen Williams OBE
