Tasks will likely include the following:
- To prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing
- Administration of client files, which will include daily electronic filing and the opening, and retrieval of files
- To make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary for their fee earner
- Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone
- To keep dictation up to date within agreed timescales and advise when outside of timescale – to be agreed with individual fee earner
- To have full working knowledge of IT systems
- To ensure all financial information is entered and uploaded on the case management system
- General assistance and support in the department
