A local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Children’s Team as Team Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £51,515. You’ll be joining a Local Authority who believe that children are the future, and their mission is to show kindness, respect and fairness whilst trying to give every child the best possible chance of an amazing life.

Responsibilities for you as a Children’s Team Manager:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the team.
  • Effectively manage the workflow of caseloads.
  • Demonstrate clear decision making, and problem solving.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support, promote and safeguard the welfare of Children and Young People.

Requirements for you as Children’s Team Manager:

  • Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Significant experience within front-line Childrens Social Work
  • Management or Supervisory experience
  • A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations.

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary scale: £49,498 – £51,515 dependant on experience (Grade 11)
